2. How long will it take to get Divorced?
In most cases, your divorce will be completed in 45 days. You will usually get your divorce papers within 7 days of your interview. You court date will depend on how long it takes to have both parties sign papers, have them notarized and returned to our office. It is usually about 3 weeks after that.
3. Do I have to be an Illinois resident to use this service?
Yes, to get a divorce in Illinois, one of the parties must be a resident of Illinois for at least 90 days.
